That sole is lightweight, it bends at the front and lets the turn and the twist through, and the non-slip tread adds the friction with the ground. Inside, an On Steam textile lining and insole are breathable and keep the interior dry; the insole is removable and comes out to air or to serve as a measure. The reinforced toe cap protects that front area from rubbing, and the adjustable fastening sets the instep.
